Premier League/Championship/Serie A

Gary Rowett will not want to be centre stage this evening but undoubtably he will be. The former Burton Albion manager takes his now Birmingham team to his old stomping ground, for their first ever competitive match between the two. Rowett will of course want all three points and not worry about any sentiment towards his old club who are struggling, but doing okay at home so far this season. Birmingham are doing well themselves, but have had no real run of victories, with a constant mixture of results both home and away.

For you ladies out there, if your fella is out on the town tonight and you have nothing to catch up on, but love your football. Then England Women have a friendly this evening against France that might be worth a watch.

Saturday starts early if your kids wake you up at a silly hour, with an A-League fixture on at 7.35am from Australia. Then it’s a full on Saturday once again with undefeated Spurs travelling to Bournemouth who spanked in six goals last weekend at home to Hull. Maybe worth a bet on number of goals scored in this game, rather than an outright winner.

San Siro will be packed Saturday night

Into the evening and you think you’d have a home banker win the reds of Liverpool at home to West Brom, but this game last year was 2-2 with the home team getting a very late equaliser. If you don’t fancy that then Forest at home to Cardiff could have goals, with new boss Neil Warnock going on his travels from south Wales for the first time. If you’re at home Saturday night too just like me, then tune into BT Sport 3 for two giants of Italian football, when AC Milan take on Juventus at the San Siro.
