Premier League/Bundesliga/Championship

Not that many live fixtures for a Friday night from across Europe, no surprise really when there was still World Cup 2018 qualifiers still taking place on Tuesday just gone. Some players would not have been back from around the globe until late on Wednesday night or early hours of Thursday morning.

New Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock

The Bundesliga, the Championship, Scottish Premiership, Ligue 1 and La Liga have all managed to put a game on tonight though. I am surprised Dortmund are playing to be fair. Nice start for Neil Warnock as well, a local derby at home to Bristol City – luck is on his side with Warnock have a great record in is opening game of taking charge of a team.

Some huge games Saturday as well, stat wise, Leicester’s current premier league record as defending champions is exactly the same as Chelsea’s this time last season after seven game. Won two, drawn two and lost three, even the goal difference is the same with both of them being on minus three.

Wolves away to Villa is a big game as well, although nearly every Villa game is a big game this season and they have never enjoyed so many live fixtures on television. New Villa manager will be looking to get a winning start to stop Villa having so many draws this season. West Ham United need a win as well after a dreadful start to the season compared to where they were last season. I’m not sure they’ll get it at Palace though, who have a good home record.
