Mourinho at The Bridge plus Rangers vs Celtic

Who ever said Sunday’s are quiet, well they can be if you’re sat at home all today watching football, which you certainly have the chance of doing with the amount of games on. All the big leagues across Europe have live games throughout the day, along with live MLS games later tonight from America. The big and most talked about game of the weekend is Jose Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge with his new and gathering confidence United team. Not too many pundits and fans have predicted a United win, with most going for the draw or the Chelsea win. I’d be very tempted to predict a United win though, there is just something that I have seen in United over the last week or so that says to me they could get the win today. It’ll be tough though with United going to a ground that they very rarely win at.

Rangers vs Celtic 2.15pm

With all the focus on the Chelsea vs United clash, well everywhere outside of Glasgow in Scotland. The attention of the second meeting of Rangers vs Celtic has not been mentioned too much in the press that I have seen. It should be cracker though and may well be worth recording and watching later just for the atmosphere. Another Celtic win for me though after their dominant thrashing of their rivals in the league and the start of last month.

Liverpool vs Spurs 7.45pm

An all Premier League tie in the ‘League Cup’ 4th round on Tuesday night which could actually be an open cracking game. I think both team will make changes but I’d have to predict goals for sure and a Liverpool win. Both teams believe they have a chance of winning the Premier League but with Spurs competing on the European front as well they may make more changes than Liverpool. Having a soft spot myself for Italian side Genoa I may actually tune into their game vs Milan to see if they can topple the once huge AC Milan.
