MNF: Red Monday

Yes, Sky Sports are calling their (MNF) Monday Night Football ‘Red Monday’ as the two most successful teams in English football go head to head at Anfield tonight. Liverpool are the favourites for this with the way they’re playing so far this season, whilst United are still trying to find themselves as a team under new manager Mourinho. Klopp has been in charge of the Anfield club for just over a year now and has got his team and squad playing the way he wants them to play, free-flowing whilst attacking and high pressing whilst defending. It should be a cracker tonight and if you’d like some more match stats before the game please see the following link: Liverpool v Man Utd

Sporting vs Dortmund

The UEFA Champions League is back on Tuesday as well, with some cracking games from around Europe. I’ll be tempted with a double on the English teams with Spurs away and Leicester at home, if confident with that you may as well put Madrid to win too. Watching wise, if you don’t fancy any of those games and just want a change I’d recommend Sporting v Dortmund.

Only one fixture stands out on Wednesday night and that is of course Barcelona vs Manchester City at the Camp Nou. City are currently in a little bit of a blip after a couple of draws and a defeat since their fantastic ten match winning start to the season. They’ll still think they can get something out of the game but honestly I do not think so on this occasion. If you go for the Barcelona win then, it might be worth putting it in an accumulator along with wins for Arsenal, Napoli, Madrid and Munich. With many one of the other ties coming up as a draw.
