Man Utd v Leicester, Arsenal v Chelsea and so much more

That right, it’s a full on action packed weekend of football once again but the outstanding fixtures all seem to be in England again. I know there is not too much on starting tonight, but with games available to watch from Portugal, Germany, France and Spain you still have a fair bit of choice. I myself will still be tempted by the Championship game between Preston and Wigan. I can’t see it being a classic but with both teams struggling so far this season one of them will want to win it. Being boring I’m going to have to go for a 2-0 Preston win I reckon.

aston-villa-v-newcastleOnto Saturday, well once again there are so many fixtures across Europe that stand out from the choices you have, but with every focusing on the Man Utd v Leicester City game with all the Mourinho chat in the papers recently. Then of course Arsenal v Chelsea in late kick off, a stand out game that might be worth watching will be Villa v Newcastle.

Now I know once again it might not have the appeal of a classic game but with Newcastle flying high now and Villa the score draw specialist so far this season. There will be goals so get your money on that for sure. Unfortunately I’m at a 40th birthday celebration so won’t be watching any of the evening kick offs. I will watch the United vs Leicester game though before driving south for the party. I can’t see anything other than a United home win tomorrow, they have to bounce back and I’m positive they will. I’m going for a Chelsea away win as well.

athletic-bilbao-vs-sevillaIf neither Villa, Newcastle, Arsenal or Chelsea takes your fancy and you’re a neutral and fancy something different. I’d have to recommend Athletic Bilbao v Sevilla in La Liga, both good solid teams and I’m sure it’ll be an entertaining game. I’m even half tempted myself to record it and watch it on Sunday, sure it’ll be easier enough to avoid finding out the result.

Other games on Sunday include all of the below, take your pick. With the goings on at Rangers it might be worth sticking some money on Aberdeen to beat them at home. I also like the look of both Atletico Madrid vs Deportivo La Coruna and Fiorentina vs AC Milan if you have nothing else to do on a Sunday.
