Live Football – England v Spain

With all the World Cup Qualifiers now over after the current International Break, a lot of teams have still opted to get in and arrange a friendly game whilst they have their squads altogether. There are about 15 or so games going on this evening but live from Wembley will be England vs Spain. Gareth Southgate will be taking charge of his fourth and final game as interim manager, with rumours that he is to be offered a four-year deal in the coming days to become manager full-time, whatever the result this evening. A draw is the obvious pick tonight of course, but for some reason I can see England winning it. I’m not saying that after their recent performances though, I just think they’ll get ahead tonight and then keep it that way. Should be decent friendly to watch though.

Tuesday 15th November 2016

  • Northern Ireland v Croatia – International Friendly @ 19:45 Premier Sports
  • England v Spain – International Friendly @ 20:00 ITV

emirates_fa_cup_logoWith around fifteen FA Cup first rounds replays to take place in total, TV had a fair few games to choose from when it come to scheduling. Most are being played tonight and a couple were played last night. Luckily live slots were available for both Wednesday and Thursday for teams to show off their grounds and players in front of the nation. First up non-league Brackley against League One outfit Gillingham with the winners to face Blackpool away in the next round. Gillingham the overwhelming favourites still, even after being held at home initially.

Thursday brings another non-league team who got a draw away first time around against league opposition, Cambridge from League One will be looking to make sure they don’t slip up again. Then they could look forward to a home tie in the next round, but I’m sure Dover will be doing the same.
